The war on Gaza targets Palestinians across religious faiths, not only Muslims [contrarian]
"Islamophobia" implies that Muslims are the primary targets of discrimination or violence. But in Israel's war on Gaza and in its apartheid occupation across historic Palestine, it is Palestinians of different faith groups—Christians and Druze, among others—and of differing degrees of religiosity who suffer. After Palestinians, it is their allies of all backgrounds and across the world, including Jews, who are accused of antisemitism and of supporting terrorism. To be sure, the term "Islamophobia" is not entirely inaccurate because the majority of Palestinians are Muslim, and because it is difficult to disentangle anti-Palestinian racism from anti-Arab and anti-Muslim racism.
