I noticed that many musicians were not listening to what they were performing! There was good hand-eye coordination in reading music, but listening was not necessarily a part of the performance. The musician was of course hearing but listening all over or attention13 to the space/time continuum (global) was not happening. There was disconnection from the environment that included the audience as the music was played.
