Four of Eucken's advisees (Pfister, Maier, Hensel, and Lutz) were early members of the MPS already in the 1940s, and seven of the ten advisees indicated in Figure 11.1 later became members of the MPS. Moreover, up to the third and fourth generation after Eucken one can find core proponents of the German neoliberal network, including Hans Willgerodt, Manfred J. M. Neumann, Joachim Starbatty, and Peter Oberender.
