Attacks on classicism seek freedom from all form [definitional]

The attack against classicism is not concerned with the introduction of new cultural forms. Instead self-assured life wishes to liberate itelf from the yoke of form as such, of which classicism is a historical representation.

DEFINE: Clarifies that the rebellion against classicism is really a rebellion against form itself, not merely against specific cultural forms.
