Co-working is when two or more people with flexible jobs, usually freelancers, meet at a common location to work side-by-side on their laptops on separate projects. There are formal co-working spaces set up to provide the camaraderie of the workplace that is missing from freelance life. Most, for a nominal fee, will rent desks and provide coffee, office supplies, phone lines, internet access, and a printer.
