24 portrays Muslim characters as zealous extremists bent on terrorism [fact]

In many instances, Muslims feature prominently as loathsome terrorists. In the second season, Bauer tracks down a Muslim terrorist, Syed Ali, after a prayer service at a Los Angeles mosque. Bauer subsequently tortures Ali in order to get him to confess the whereabouts of a nuclear bomb. Ali proves resistant to torture, and when Bauer insists that he is able to inflict even more pain, Ali responds with great fervor: “Then I will have much more pleasure in paradise.” In the fourth season, the main terrorist group is called the Turkish Crimson Jihad. A Turkish family living in the United States is a part of this organization, working as a sleeper cell in the hopes of killing Americans. The family’s father in particular is portrayed as a zealous, extremist Muslim bent on jihad and willing to kill his own family to carry out his mission against America.

QUESTION: How representative is this depiction of the show's overall portrayal of Muslim characters across all seasons?
