Interfaith dialogue should address both shared flaws and common love. [causal]

For those who are participants in the Abrahamic traditions, Ellison believes that more effort spent on discussing commonalities between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam will make a difference. This includes talking about the shared skeletons in the closet, such as the violent passages that can be found in the scriptures of all three traditions. But it also means discussing the shared love and common prophetic figures in the traditions.

XREF: Connects to broader interfaith and comparative religion conversations around shared scripture and violent passages.
