Muslims in New Zealand, on the other hand, comprise only 1 percent of the island nation's total population. Islam is not nearly as embedded there as in Dearborn, nor its followers as visible. However, that Friday, March 15, 2019, would make New Zealand and the city of Christchurch central in the minds of the nearly 2 billion Muslims everywhere and a capital of white terrorism moving forward.
