Systematic violence against Rohingya included sexual and religious atrocities [fact]

Police and soldiers gang-raped Rohingya women and girls, some of them still children. Private citizens joined in, ransacking Rohingya businesses and breaking into homes, where they beat up elders and shot fathers and raped mothers in front of children. The horrors did not stop there. … The United Nations collected evidence of mosques being burned to the ground. Schools were raided and razed. Entire villages were flattened, and the people who called them home were sent off without any knowledge of where they would end up.

QUESTION: What mechanisms of accountability have been pursued for these documented atrocities?
