The War on Terror normalized force-based policy templates worldwide. [connection]
The days of “shock and awe” were behind us, and the War on Terror ushered in a new era of smash and grab. This new model offered other nations a template of propaganda and punishment they could emulate that was endorsed by the world’s principal superpower. A superpower that exported “democracy” with bullets, bombs, and bullying of weaker nations, and in line with its new “with us or against us” directive, threatened the world to align itself against Islam or feel the might of that terror itself.
QUESTION: The claim that this 'new model offered other nations a template' deserves scrutiny—what specific nations adopted this template, and with what evidence?
