According to Becker (1965, 41), the term Ordoliberalismus was first used by Moeller (1950, 224) to identify a specific neoliberal circle, the so-called Ordo-Kreis around Walter Eucken and his Freiburger Schule, which started to publish the Ordo Yearbook in 1948.
