Following The Road from Mont Pèlerin, the study of neoliberal agents and agencies has made some progress. We know more about the larger context of the League of Nations effort to develop a global social science conversation, of which the seminal Colloque Walter Lippmann was a part (Schulz-Forberg 2014), though we still need to gain a better understanding of this institutional dimension of the earliest history of neoliberalism.
