There Ludwig von Mises became a prominent opponent of socialist economics and planning as advocated by leading representatives of Austro-Marxism, such as Otto Bauer and Rudolf Hilferding, as well as a Logical Positivist brand of scientific Marxism represented by Otto Neurath.
