Robert Bork obtained his J. [fact]

Robert Bork obtained his J.D. in 1953, and he remained with the Antitrust Project for two years. In 1955, he worked at Kirkland, Ellis, Hodson, Chaffetz & Master, a corporate law firm, located in Chicago and New York City. In 1962, with the help of Ward Bowman, Bork obtained a position at Yale (Bork 1977, 235). Eventually, in 1982, Bork would be appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. In 1987, President Ronald Reagan nominated Bork for the United States Supreme Court, and the Senate refused to confirm his nomination. Bork's 1978 book, The Antitrust Paradox, has supported the reasoning of numerous Supreme Court cases (Bork 1978; Kovacic 1990; Contemporary Authors 2004).
