There is a limitation, however: an illegal business cannot freely commission advertisements and must rely on informal assistance or the visual or aural images others—in the legal world—create when talking, writing, filming, or playing music about it. In addition, the purposes of fiction and crime sometimes coincide, in that both can thrive on mystery, awe, and terror. No wonder they pirate each other's creations.
