Funding supports organizations, not truths themselves. [causal]

One does not finance truths but organizations which more or less successfully concern themselves with exploring and ascertaining truths or untruths. Mutatis mutandis, a similar situation results with the conversion of property and money into power.

XREF: This parallels Weberian and Foucauldian analyses of institutional power and the objectification of knowledge production. The mutatis mutandis extension to money becoming power recalls Bourdieu's forms of capital conversion.
