An August 2011 Gallup poll asked respondents in various religious groups if they thought that American Muslims are sympathetic to al-Qaeda. Seventy percent of Jewish Americans said no; the only groups with higher "no" percentages were Muslims and atheists. Clearly this is about politics, not religion.
